Seifu Yigezu
Chairman of the Board
Seifu Yigezu is an experienced leader with a diverse career spanning the private, public and non-profit sectors. He started his career with Ethiopian Airlines, widely regarded as the best airline in Africa. With graduate degrees in both business and law, his professional background includes serving in high-level government positions, in Ethiopia, where he contributed to the development of impactful policies and legislation. He also held senior administrative and leadership positions, including a leadership role within the elected Advisory Council to the government, at a crucial time in the country's history. Seifu also served as a diplomat in various capitals of Europe where he actively developed bilateral and multilateral relations. In this connection, he also actively contributed to the negotiations for an international convention with the European Union.
Additionally, he held management roles at the U.S. corporate headquarters of a major international oil company, bringing extensive corporate experience and expertise in global business operations.
Seifu also served as a senior executive for a large non-profit organization in Dallas and on several large nonprofit boards, dedicating his leadership to positively impacting the lives of underserved minority communities for more than twenty-five years.
Beyond his professional achievements, Seifu is particularly dedicated to supporting and advocating for the Ethiopian American community in DFW. For decades, he focused on expanding access to sustainable opportunities and resources for those in need through his roles, previously as Chairman of the Ethiopian Community Center Committee and currently as Chairman of the Board of the MAAEC, as well as through various leadership involvements with the St. Michael's church. Seifu is married and has two adult children.

የዳይሬክተሮች ቦርድ ሰብሳቢ
ሰይፉ ይገዙ በግል ዘርፍ፣ በመንግስት ተቋማት እና በትርፍ አልባ ድርጅቶች ውስጥ ረጅም እና የተለያየ ልምድ ያካበተ ተሞክሮ ያለው መሪ ነው። የሙያ ጉዞውን የጀመረው በኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ ሲሆን፣ ይህ ተቋም በአፍሪካ ከሚገኙ አየር መንገዶች መካከል በከፍተኛ ደረጃ የሚታወቅና የተከበረ ነው።
በቢዝነስ አስተዳደርና በሕግ የድህረ ምረቃ ዲግሪዎችን ያገኘው ሰይፉ፣ በኢትዮጵያ በከፍተኛ የመንግስት ኃላፊነቶች ሲያገለግል በሀገሪቱ ላይ ተፅዕኖ ያላቸው ፖሊሲዎችና ሕጎች እንዲዘጋጁ እና እንዲተገበሩ ጉልህ አስተዋጽኦ አበርክቷል። በተጨማሪም በሀገሪቱ ታሪክ ወሳኝ በነበረ ወቅት፣ ለመንግስት ምክር በሚሰጥ በምርጫ በተመረጠ የአማካሪ ምክር ቤት ውስጥ የአመራር ሚና በመወጣት ከፍተኛ አስተዳደራዊና አመራር ኃላፊነቶችን ተሸክሟል።
ሰይፉ በተለያዩ የአውሮፓ ዋና ከተሞች የዲፕሎማትነት አገልግሎት ሰጥቶ በሁለትዮሽና በብዙዮሽ ግንኙነቶች ማጠናከር ላይ በንቃት ሰርቷል። በዚህ ሂደትም ከአውሮፓ ህብረት ጋር የተደረጉ አለም አቀፍ ስምምነቶች ድርድሮች ውስጥ ጉልህ ሚና ተጫውቷል።
በተጨማሪም በአሜሪካ የሚገኘው የአንድ ትልቅ ዓለም አቀፍ የነዳጅ ኩባንያ ዋና መሥሪያ ቤት ውስጥ በአስተዳደር ኃላፊነቶች በመሥራት በዓለም አቀፍ የንግድ ሥራ እና በኮርፖሬት አመራር ዘርፍ ሰፊ ልምድና እውቀት አካብቷል።
ሰይፉ በዳላስ ውስጥ በሚገኝ ትልቅ ትርፍ አልባ ድርጅት እንደ ከፍተኛ አስፈጻሚ ሲያገለግል ቆይቶ፣ በበርካታ ትላልቅ የትርፍ አልባ ድርጅቶች የዳይሬክተሮች ቦርድ አባል ሆኖ ሠርቷል። ከ25 ዓመታት በላይ በተለይ ለተገለሉና ለአገልግሎት ዕድል ለሚፈልጉ ማህበረሰቦች ሕይወት አዎንታዊ ለውጥ ለማምጣት አመራሩን ሰጥቷል።
ከሙያዊ ስኬቶቹ ባሻገር፣ ሰይፉ በተለይ በዳላስ–ፎርት ዎርዝ (DFW) አካባቢ የሚኖረውን የኢትዮጵያ–አሜሪካዊያን ማህበረሰብ ለመደገፍና ለመወከል ጥልቅ ቁርጠኝነት አለው። ለብዙ ዓመታት ለተቸገሩ ወገኖች ዘላቂ ዕድሎችና ሀብቶች ተደራሽ እንዲሆኑ ሲሰራ ቆይቷል። ይህንንም በቀድሞው የኢትዮጵያ ማህበረሰብ ማዕከል ኮሚቴ ሰብሳቢነቱ፣ በአሁኑ ወቅት ደግሞ የMAAEC የዳይሬክተሮች ቦርድ ሰብሳቢ በመሆኑ እንዲሁም በቅዱስ ሚካኤል ቤተ ክርስቲያን ውስጥ በተለያዩ የአመራር ሚናዎች በማገልገል አሳይቷል።
ሰይፉ ያገባ ሲሆን፣ ሁለት ያደጉ ልጆች አሉት።
