Serkadis Negussie (Gebeta)

Mr. Serkadis Negussie (Gebeta) has lived in the United States for approximately 30 years and currently resides in Wylie, Texas. He is a dedicated community leader who has consistently contributed to the Ethiopian community through volunteer service, youth development, and civic engagement.
Throughout the years, Serkadis has actively supported community initiatives by volunteering in various programs and mentoring young people through sports. He has served as a youth soccer coach, helping children develop teamwork, discipline, leadership, and confidence both on and off the field. His commitment to youth empowerment reflects his belief that investing in the next generation is essential to building a stronger community.
Serkadis currently serves as a Board Member of the Wylie Beteseb Mahibire, where he contributes to strengthening community relationships, promoting cultural values, and supporting organizational initiatives. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, he enjoys woodworking and actively participates in community activities that encourage creativity, collaboration, and family engagement.
As the Public Relations Manager and a member of the Executive Leadership Committee of the Mutual Assistance Association for the Ethiopian Community (MAAEC), Serkadis is committed to enhancing communication, promoting the organization's mission, strengthening public awareness, and building meaningful relationships with members, partners, and the broader community. Through his leadership, integrity, and dedication to service, he continues to support MAAEC's vision of empowering Ethiopian families, preserving Ethiopian heritage, and fostering unity and community engagement throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

የህዝብ ግንኙነት ኃላፊ እና የሥራ አስፈጻሚ አመራር ኮሚቴ አባል
አቶ ሰርካዲስ ነጉሴ (ገበታ) በአሜሪካ ለ30 ዓመታት ያህል የኖሩ ሲሆን፣ በአሁኑ ጊዜ በዋይሊ (Wylie)፣ ቴክሳስ ይኖራሉ። በቆይታቸው ዘመን በኢትዮጵያውያን ማህበረሰብ ውስጥ በበጎ ፈቃደኝነት በማገልገል፣ ወጣቶችን በመደገፍ እና በማህበረሰብ ልማት ተግባራት በንቃት ተሳትፈዋል።
ሰርካዲስ በተለይ ለወጣቶች እድገት ትልቅ ትኩረት የሚሰጡ ሲሆን፣ ለብዙ ዓመታት የወጣቶች የእግር ኳስ አሰልጣኝ በመሆን ልጆች የቡድን ስራ፣ የመሪነት ብቃት፣ ሥነ-ምግባር እና ራስን የመተማመን ባህሪ እንዲያዳብሩ አስተዋፅኦ አድርገዋል። ወጣቶችን ማበረታታት እና ወደፊት ለማዘጋጀት ያላቸው ቁርጠኝነት ለማህበረሰቡ ዘላቂ እድገት መሠረት መሆኑን ያምናሉ።
በአሁኑ ጊዜ በዋይሊ ቤተሰብ ማህበር የቦርድ አባል በመሆን ያገለግላሉ። በዚህ ኃላፊነት ውስጥ የማህበረሰብ አንድነትን በማጠናከር፣ ባህላዊ እሴቶችን በማስተዋወቅ እና የማህበሩን የልማት ፕሮግራሞች በመደገፍ ጉልህ ሚና ይጫወታሉ። በተጨማሪም በእንጨት ሥራ (Woodworking) ላይ ፍላጎት ያላቸው ሲሆን፣ ይህንንም ክህሎታቸውን በማህበረሰብ እና በወጣቶች ፕሮግራሞች ውስጥ በመጠቀም የፈጠራ እና የትብብር መንፈስን ያበረታታሉ።
ሰርቃዲስ በየኢትዮጵያውያን ማህበረሰብ የጋራ ድጋፍ ማህበር (MAAEC) የሥራ አስፈጻሚ አመራር ኮሚቴ አባል እና የህዝብ ግንኙነት ኃላፊ በመሆን የድርጅቱን ተልዕኮና ራዕይ ለማስተዋወቅ፣ ከአባላት፣ ከአጋሮች እና ከማህበረሰቡ ጋር ጠንካራ ግንኙነት ለመገንባት፣ እንዲሁም የድርጅቱን ፕሮግራሞችና አገልግሎቶች በብቃት ለማስተዋወቅ በቁርጠኝነት ይሠራሉ።
በአገልግሎት መንፈሳቸው፣ በታማኝነታቸው እና በአመራር ብቃታቸው የኢትዮጵያውያንን ቤተሰቦች ለማጠናከር፣ የኢትዮጵያን ባህልና እሴቶች ለማስጠበቅ እና በዳላስ–ፎርት ዎርዝ አካባቢ የማህበረሰብ አንድነትን ለማጎልበት ያላቸውን እውቀትና ልምድ በቀጣይነት ያበረክታሉ።
