Hableta (Letty) Petros has been a resident of Dallas, Texas, for the past 15 years. She earned her undergraduate degree in Information Technology and later completed a Master of Science in Cybersecurity while working full-time and attending school as a full-time student—demonstrating dedication, perseverance, and a strong commitment to personal and professional growth.
During her college years, she had the privilege of serving as an officer in the Ethiopian & Eritrean Student Association, where she developed a passion for leadership, cultural engagement, and community service.
Professionally, Letty currently works as a Finance and Operations Analyst at Texas Instruments, where she applies her analytical and operational expertise in a dynamic corporate environment.
Beyond her professional career, Letty is deeply committed to service and advocacy. In addition to serving actively in her church, she volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Collin County, supporting and advocating for children in need.
Inspired by the example of her parents and uncle, community service has always been an important part of her life. She considers it a great honor and privilege to serve alongside the Ethiopian Community as Social Affairs Manager, working to support families, strengthen connections, and uplift the community.

የማህበራዊ ጉዳይ ኃላፊ እና የሥራ አስፈጻሚ አመራር ኮሚቴ አባል
ሀብለታ (ሌቲ) ጴጥሮስ ላለፉት 15 ዓመታት በዳላስ፣ ቴክሳስ የኖረች ሲሆን፣ በኢንፎርሜሽን ቴክኖሎጂ (Information Technology) የመጀመሪያ ዲግሪዋን አግኝታለች። በመቀጠልም በሙሉ ሰዓት እየሠራች እና በተመሳሳይ ጊዜ በሙሉ ሰዓት ተማሪ ሆና በሳይበር ሴኩሪቲ (Cybersecurity) የማስተርስ ዲግሪዋን አጠናቃለች። ይህም ለትምህርት፣ ለትጋት እና ለግልና ሙያዊ እድገት ያላትን ጽናትና ቁርጠኝነት ያሳያል።
በዩኒቨርሲቲ ቆይታዋ ወቅት በኢትዮጵያውያንና ኤርትራውያን የተማሪዎች ማህበር (Ethiopian & Eritrean Student Association) ውስጥ በኃላፊነት ደረጃ የማገልገል ዕድል አግኝታለች። በዚያም ለአመራር፣ ለባህላዊ ተሳትፎ እና ለማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ያላትን ፍላጎት አዳብራለች።
በሙያዋ፣ ሌቲ በአሁኑ ወቅት በTexas Instruments እንደ የፋይናንስ እና ኦፕሬሽንስ ተንታኝ (Finance and Operations Analyst) ትሰራለች። በዚህ ኃላፊነት ውስጥ የትንታኔ፣ የአስተዳደር እና የስራ አፈጻጸም ክህሎቶቿን በከፍተኛ የኮርፖሬት ሥራ አካባቢ በብቃት ትጠቀማለች።
ከሙያዊ ሥራዋ ባሻገር፣ ሌቲ ለአገልግሎትና ለማህበረሰብ ተሟጋችነት ጥልቅ ቁርጠኝነት አላት። በቤተ ክርስቲያኗ በንቃት ከምታገለግለው በተጨማሪ፣ በኮሊን ካውንቲ እንደ Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) በጎ ፈቃደኛ በመሆን ለድጋፍ የሚፈልጉ ህጻናት ድምጽ በመሆን ትደግፋለች፣ ትወክላለችም።
ከወላጆቿና ከአጎቷ የተማረችው የአገልግሎት መንፈስ በህይወቷ ውስጥ ሁሌም ትልቅ ቦታ ይይዛል። ከኢትዮጵያውያን ማህበረሰብ ጋር በመሆን እንደ የማህበራዊ ጉዳይ ኃላፊ ማገልገልን ትልቅ ክብርና እድል አድርጋ ትቆጥራለች። በዚህ ኃላፊነቷም ቤተሰቦችን ለመደገፍ፣ የማህበረሰብ ትስስሮችን ለማጠናከር እና ማህበረሰቡን ለማበረታታት በቁርጠኝነት ትሰራለች።
