Board Member
Dr. Keder Said has been actively involved in both professional and community service throughout his life. For over 20 years, he has served the Ethiopian community in various capacities, including roles within Edir and several community subcommittees as an elected official. He currently serves as a Board Member of MAAEC, where his leadership style reflects a strong commitment to service and transformational leadership.
Dr. Keder is known for his positive outlook, good sense of humor, and approachable personality. He values teamwork, respects diverse perspectives, and deeply appreciates the dedication of those who serve the community. While he is generally flexible and open to dialogue, he also believes in standing firm when necessary. These qualities have enabled him to effectively navigate both personal and community matters.
Professionally, Dr. Keder is an educator and businessman. A lifelong learner with a deep passion for education, he has earned multiple degrees from four universities.
He has lived in Dallas for more than 30 years and is a proud husband, father, and grandfather to three grandchildren. Having grown up in Addis Ababa, attended college in Harar, and worked in northern Ethiopia, he has developed strong connections across the country and takes great pride in his Ethiopian heritage.
Dr. Keder sincerely wishes the very best for all Ethiopians and remains committed to serving and uplifting the community.

ዶ/ር ከድር ሳይድ በሙያዊ ህይወቱም ሆነ በማህበረሰብ አገልግሎቱ ውስጥ በንቃት ተሳትፎ ያደረገ ታታሪ መሪ ነው። ከ20 ዓመታት በላይ የኢትዮጵያን ማህበረሰብ በተለያዩ ኃላፊነቶች ሲያገለግል ቆይቷል፤ በዕድር አመራር፣ በተለያዩ የማህበረሰብ ንዑስ ኮሚቴዎች እና በምርጫ የተመረጠ ተወካይ በመሆን ጉልህ አስተዋጽኦ አበርክቷል። በአሁኑ ወቅት የMAAEC የዳይሬክተሮች ቦርድ አባል ሲሆን፣ አመራሩ በአገልጋይነት መንፈስ እና በለውጥ አምጪ አመራር መርሆዎች የተመሰረተ ነው።
ዶ/ር ከድር በአዎንታዊ አመለካከቱ፣ በጥሩ ቀልድ ስሜቱ እና በቀላሉ ለመቅረብ በሚያስችለው ስብዕናው ይታወቃል። የቡድን ሥራን በጣም ያከብራል፣ የተለያዩ ሃሳቦችን በክብር ይቀበላል፣ እና ለማህበረሰቡ የሚያገለግሉ ሰዎችን ትጋትና ቁርጠኝነት በእጅጉ ያደንቃል። በአብዛኛው ለውይይት ክፍትና ተለዋዋጭ ቢሆንም፣ አስፈላጊ በሆነ ጊዜ በእውነትና በመርህ ላይ ጸንቶ መቆም እንዳለበት ያምናል። እነዚህ ባህሪያት በግል ሕይወቱም ሆነ በማህበረሰብ ጉዳዮች ውስጥ በብቃት እንዲመራ ረድተውታል።
በሙያው፣ ዶ/ር ከድር አስተማሪ እና ነጋዴ ነው። ለትምህርት ጥልቅ ፍቅር ያለው እና ዕውቀትን በቀጣይነት ለማሳደግ የሚጥር ተማሪ በመሆኑ፣ ከአራት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች በርካታ ዲግሪዎችን አግኝቷል።
ዶ/ር ከድር በዳላስ ከ30 ዓመታት በላይ ኖሯል። በቤተሰቡ የሚኮራ ባል፣ አባት እና የሶስት የልጅ ልጆች አያት ነው። በአዲስ አበባ ተወልዶ እና አድጎ፣ በሐረር ኮሌጅ ተምሮ፣ በሰሜን ኢትዮጵያም በመሥራቱ በመላው ሀገሪቱ ጠንካራ ግንኙነቶችን አፍርቷል። በኢትዮጵያዊ ማንነቱና ቅርሱ ታላቅ ኩራት ይሰማዋል።
ዶ/ር ከድር ለሁሉም ኢትዮጵያውያን መልካሙን በሙሉ ልቡ ይመኛል፤ ማህበረሰቡን ለማገልገል፣ ለማጠናከር እና ወደ ተሻለ ደረጃ ለማሻገር ያለውን ቁርጠኝነት በቀጣይነት ይጠብቃል።
