Mesrak Tassew

Mesrak Tassew previously worked for a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company as a Case Manager in Risk Assessment, where she specialized in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating potential risks and hazards. She played an instrumental role in implementing strategies that reduced financial and operational risks, helping to protect company assets and contribute to organizational growth and stability.
Since 2008, Mesrak has been serving in the insurance industry as an independent advisor. She is currently semi-retired and continues to provide professional services focused on business and commercial insurance, as well as other financial services. Through her work, she advises small and mid-sized businesses on asset protection, risk management, and minimizing financial losses resulting from unforeseen circumstances.
Mesrak has been a resident of Dallas since 1985 and has actively served the Ethiopian community since 1999. In the early 2000s, she served as a member of the MAAEC Executive Committee and contributed significantly to the organization and success of the first and second Ethiopian Day celebrations, as well as many that followed. She also served as a member of the former EDIR Advisory Committee.
Currently, Mesrak serves as a member of the MAAEC Board of Directors. She remains deeply committed to the advancement and well-being of the community, dedicating her time, experience, and expertise to helping MAAEC thrive and deliver meaningful value to its members and the broader community.

ወ/ሮ መስራቅ ታሰው በአንድ የFortune 500 ኩባንያ ንዑስ ድርጅት ውስጥ በአደጋ ግምገማ (Risk Assessment) የጉዳይ አስተዳዳሪ (Case Manager) ሆና ሰርታለች። በዚህ ኃላፊነት ውስጥ ሊያጋጥሙ የሚችሉ አደጋዎችንና ስጋቶችን በመለየት፣ በመገምገም እና ተገቢ የመከላከያ ዘዴዎችን በመተግበር ልዩ ሙያዊ ብቃት አሳይታለች። የፋይናንስና የኦፕሬሽን አደጋዎችን የሚቀንሱ ስትራቴጂዎችን በመተግበር የድርጅቱን ንብረት ለመጠበቅ፣ የድርጅቱን እድገትና መረጋጋት ለማጠናከር ጉልህ አስተዋጽኦ አበርክታለች።
ከ2008 ዓ.ም. ጀምሮ መስራቅ በመድን ዘርፍ እንደ ገለልተኛ አማካሪ በማገልገል ላይ ትገኛለች። በአሁኑ ወቅት ከፊል ጡረታ ብትሆንም፣ በንግድና በንግድ ድርጅቶች መድን (Business and Commercial Insurance) እንዲሁም በሌሎች የፋይናንስ አገልግሎቶች ዙሪያ ሙያዊ አገልግሎት መስጠቷን ቀጥላለች። በሥራዋም አነስተኛና መካከለኛ የንግድ ድርጅቶችን በንብረት ጥበቃ፣ በአደጋ አስተዳደር እና ባልታሰቡ ክስተቶች ምክንያት ሊደርሱ የሚችሉ የፋይናንስ ኪሳራዎችን በመቀነስ ዙሪያ ትመክራለች።
መስራቅ ከ1985 ጀምሮ በዳላስ ነዋሪ ስትሆን፣ ከ1999 ጀምሮ ለኢትዮጵያውያን ማህበረሰብ በንቃት ስታገለግል ቆይታለች። በ2000ዎቹ መጀመሪያ ዓመታት የMAAEC የሥራ አስፈጻሚ ኮሚቴ አባል በመሆን የመጀመሪያውንና የሁለተኛውን የኢትዮጵያ ቀን በዓል እንዲሁም ከዚያ በኋላ የተካሄዱ በርካታ በዓላትን በማደራጀትና በማሳካት ከፍተኛ አስተዋጽኦ አበርክታለች። በተጨማሪም በቀድሞው የዕድር አማካሪ ኮሚቴ አባልነት አገልግላለች።
በአሁኑ ወቅት መስራቅ የMAAEC የዳይሬክተሮች ቦርድ አባል ሆና ታገለግላለች። ለማህበረሰቡ እድገትና ደህንነት ያላት ቁርጠኝነት ጠንካራ ሲሆን፣ ጊዜዋን፣ ልምዷን እና ሙያዊ እውቀቷን በማዋል MAAEC እንዲጠናከር፣ ለአባላቱና ለሰፊው ማህበረሰብ ጠቃሚ አገልግሎት እንዲሰጥ ያለመታከት ትሰራለች።
