Amaha Gebre-Ammanuel
Secretary and Executive Leadership Committee Member
Amaha Gebre-Ammanuel holds a degree in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. He dedicated more than 30 years of service to the City of Dallas, where he held several technical and environmental leadership roles, including Laboratory Technician, Chemist, Environmental Inspector, and Plant Operator. Throughout his career, he developed extensive expertise in environmental compliance, laboratory operations, public health protection, and municipal services.
Since his retirement in 2013, Amaha has remained actively engaged in community service and nonprofit leadership. For more than two decades, he has faithfully served the Mutual Assistance Association for the Ethiopian Community (MAAEC) and other Ethiopian community organizations in a variety of leadership and volunteer capacities. His longstanding commitment to service, integrity, and community development has made him a respected and trusted leader.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Committee, Amaha continues to contribute his experience, wisdom, and dedication to advancing MAAEC's mission of strengthening, supporting, and empowering the Ethiopian community throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

አቶ አማሃ ገብረ-አማኑኤል በኬሚስትሪ ዲግሪ እና በሂሳብ ንዑስ ሙያ (Minor) የተመረቀ ሲሆን፣ በአሜሪካ የዳላስ ከተማ (City of Dallas) ከ30 ዓመታት በላይ በተለያዩ የሙያ እና የአመራር ኃላፊነቶች አገልግሏል። በሥራ ዘመኑ እንደ የላብራቶሪ ቴክኒሺያን (Laboratory Technician)፣ ኬሚስት (Chemist)፣ የአካባቢ ጥበቃ ተቆጣጣሪ (Environmental Inspector) እና የፕላንት ኦፕሬተር (Plant Operator) በመስራት በአካባቢ ጥበቃ፣ በላብራቶሪ ሥራዎች፣ በሕዝብ ጤና ጥበቃ እና በመንግሥታዊ አገልግሎቶች ሰፊ ልምድ አካብቷል።
በ2013 ከሥራ ጡረታ ከወጣ በኋላም የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎቱን በትጋት ቀጥሏል። ከሁለት አስርት ዓመታት በላይ በየኢትዮጵያውያን የጋራ መረዳጃ ማህበር (MAAEC) እና በሌሎች የኢትዮጵያውያን ማህበረሰብ ድርጅቶች በተለያዩ የአመራርና የበጎ ፈቃድ ሚናዎች በታማኝነት አገልግሏል። በበጎ ፈቃድ አገልግሎት፣ በታማኝነት እና በማህበረሰብ ልማት ያለው ቆራጥ ተሳትፎ በማህበረሰቡ ውስጥ የተከበረና የታመነ መሪ አድርጎታል።
በአሁኑ ወቅት የMAAEC የሥራ አስፈጻሚ አመራር ኮሚቴ አባል በመሆን ሰፊ የሙያ ልምዱን፣ የአመራር ብቃቱን እና ለማህበረሰብ ያለውን ቁርጠኝነት በማስተዋወቅ የማህበሩን ተልዕኮ ለማሳካት በንቃት እያገለገለ ይገኛል። ዓላማውም በዳላስ–ፎርት ዎርዝ አካባቢ የሚኖሩ ኢትዮጵያውያንን ማገልገል፣ ማጠናከር እና ማብቃት ነው።
