Mrs. Genet Furlow
Board Member
Mrs. Genet Furlow is a devoted humanitarian with a deep love for her country, family, and community. After graduating from high school, she earned a scholarship to study Economics at the University of Thessaloniki in Greece, where she built a strong academic foundation.
She later pursued a professional opportunity with Camp USA in Dallas, Texas, where she distinguished herself as a highly effective and dedicated employee, receiving multiple awards for her outstanding performance.
Mrs. Furlow intentionally stepped away from her professional career to focus on raising her children—a role she embraced with great commitment and pride.
In recent years, she has dedicated her time and energy to serving the Ethiopian community in Dallas, Texas. Her passion for community service continues through her role as a member of the Board of Directors, where she works tirelessly to support, uplift, and strengthen the community.

የዳይሬክተሮች ቦርድ አባል
ወ/ሮ ገነት ፈርሎው ለሀገሯ፣ ለቤተሰቧ እና ለማህበረሰቧ ጥልቅ ፍቅር ያላት ታታሪ የሰብአዊ አገልግሎት ባለሙያ ናት። ከሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርቷ በኋላ በትምህርት ብቃቷ ተመርጣ በግሪክ የሚገኘው የቴሳሎኒኪ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በኢኮኖሚክስ ትምህርት ለመማር ሙሉ ስኮላርሺፕ አግኝታለች። በዚያም ጠንካራ የትምህርት መሠረትና ሙያዊ እውቀት ገንብታለች።
ከዚያ በኋላ በዳላስ፣ ቴክሳስ ከሚገኘው Camp USA ጋር ሙያዊ እድል በማግኘት ሥራዋን ቀጠለች። በሥራ ቦታዋ ያሳየችው ትጋት፣ ታማኝነት እና ከፍተኛ ብቃት በርካታ የላቀ አፈጻጸም ሽልማቶችን እንድትቀበል አስችሏታል።
ወ/ሮ ገነት በኋላ ልጆቿን በፍቅር፣ በሃላፊነት እና በትኩረት ለማሳደግ ስትል ከሙያዊ ሥራዋ ራሷን ለይታ የእናትነት ኃላፊነቷን በኩራትና በቁርጠኝነት ተወጥታለች።
በቅርብ ዓመታት ውስጥ ጊዜዋንና ጉልበቷን በዳላስ፣ ቴክሳስ የሚኖረውን የኢትዮጵያ ማህበረሰብ ለማገልገል ሰጥታለች። ለማህበረሰብ ያላት ፍቅርና ቁርጠኝነት በአሁኑ ወቅትም እንደ የዳይሬክተሮች ቦርድ አባል በማገልገል ቀጥሏል። በዚህ ኃላፊነቷ ውስጥ ማህበረሰቡን ለመደገፍ፣ ለማበረታታት እና ለማጠናከር በትጋት ትሰራለች።
